Meine Musik: 

Ich sehe es als meine Aufgabe an, durch meine künstlerischen Arbeit mit Menschen und menschlichen Emotionen zu kommunizieren. Meine Musik strebt danach, ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Anspannung und Entspannung darzustellen, ist von der Tradition beeinflusst und basiert daher auf traditionellen musikalischen Formen - im Rückblick vorwärts schauend, um Authentizität bemüht, das `Eigentliche´ aus meinem Inneren heraushörend und mich an eigenen Normen und Werten orientierend, wobei ich der Orchestermusik/Sinfonik besondere Aufmerksamkeit zuwende. In meinen Vokalkompositionen nach literarischen Texten spielt die Kantabilität eine große Rolle. Die Zuhörer sollen nachempfinden können und spüren, dass meine Musik Themen berührt, die auch menschliche Themen sind. Die Musik zielt darauf ab, die Zuhörer in eine musikalisch-künstlerische Form der Kommunikation zu führen, die ihrer Seele zugute kommen kann.

Daher ist meine Musik, Kontexte integrierend, auch kommunikationsbezogen "engagiert" - im Sinne einer Gegenposition zur "l´art pour l´art" - Auffassung. Die zu komponierenden Töne gelangen über sinnliche Eindrücke in mein Bewusstsein, aber auch über den Weg einer spirituellen inneren Einkehr.

My compositions

I see it as my mission to communicate with humanity and inherent human emotions through my artistic activities. My music strives to represent a balanced relationship between tension and relaxation and is influenced by tradition and based on traditional musical forms with a simultaneous glance from the past into the future, striving for authenticity, listening intensely to the essence of my inner soul with an orientation to my own norms and values – paying particular attention to orchestral and symphonic works. In my vocal compositions based on literary texts, cantability plays a significant role. Listeners should be able to empathise and sense that my music touches on topics which are also human issues. The music aims to lead listeners into a musical-artistic form of communication which can be of benefit for their souls.

Therefore, my music is also "committed" in terms of communication - in the sense of a counterposition to the "l'art pour l'art" - conception. The tones to be composed reach my consciousness through sensual impressions, but also through a spiritual inner contemplation.
